How to pick?

There are 2 options to pick.

  1. From Sales Order, create Whse Shipment, then create pick.

  2. From Sales Order, use the Wave Pick to create:

    1. Wave Pick

      1. Consolidate quantities by item.

      2. Move inventory from Pick bins to Cross-Dock bin.

    2. Individual Pick

      1. Move inventory from Cross-Dock bin to Ship bin.

    3. Whse Shipment

      1. Deduct inventory from the warehouse.

  3. Creating Wave Picks

    1. 98% of bins are pickable. We don’t want to have storage bins.

    2. Must pick inventory for B2C orders from a certain zone.

      1. Must use replenishment to move inventory from other zones to the B2C zon

    3. Inventory can be picked from all zones for B2B orders.

  4. Posting Picks

    1. For B2C, the Whse team can batch post Wave Pick and Individual Picks.

    2. For B2C, Whse team should post Wave Pick, then individual picks one by one.

      1. Only some shipments may be picked and packed when the FEDEX/UPS truck comes.

  • FEDEX or UPS comes to the warehouse to pick up packages.

  • Whse team:

    • Prints a report for all open shipments by Shipping Agent.

    • Uses the report to confirm shipments that are being picked up.

    • Batch posts those shipments after trucks leave the truck leaves the warehouse.
