For B2B Orders
Must pick from pick bins designated as B2B Zone
Do we need to modify the GFERP package?
For B2C Orders
Must pick from pick bins designated as B2C Zone.
Must use replenishment to move inventory between Zons Zones as needed.
Note: Allocation Status on the Sales Order must be “Full” before creating a Wave Pick.
Allocating inventory on Sales Orders:
Filter inventory based on Sales Type (B2B, or B2C) for allocation.
Create a view on Sales Lines to display all Sales Lines with Allocation Status = “None”, or “Partial”, Include the following fields:
Item No.
Decription
Outstanding Qty.
Not Allocated Qty.
Available in Warehouse
Ready to Move (Yes or No, a formula field)
If Available in Warehouse > 0 and if Not Allocated Qty > 0
After inventory is moved, update the Sales Order Allocation.
Posting Picks
For B2C: The Warehouse team can batch post Wave Picks and Individual Picks.
For B2B: The Warehouse team should first post the Wave Pick, followed by individual picks one by one, because only some shipments may be picked and packed when the truck comes on the day.
