  1. From Sales Order: Create Whse Shipment, then Create Pick.

    1. How to pick from different Zone?

  2. From Sales Order: Use Wave Pick process:

    1. Wave Pick:

      1. Consolidate quantities by item.

      2. Move inventory from Pick bins to Cross-Dock bin.

    2. Individual Pick

      1. Move inventory from Cross-Dock bin to Ship bin.

    3. Whse Shipment

      1. Deduct inventory from Ship bin.

  3. Creating Wave Picks

    1. All bins are available for picking.

    2. There are two Zones for picking:

      1. B2B Zone

      2. B2C Zone

    3. For B2B Orders

      1. Must pick from pick bins designated as B2B Zone

      2. Do we need to modify the GFERP package?

    4. For B2C Orders

      1. Must pick from pick bins designated as B2C Zone.

    5. Must use replenishment to move inventory between Zons Zones as needed.

    6. Note: Allocation Status on the Sales Order must be “Full” before creating a Wave Pick.

  4. Allocating inventory on Sales Orders:

    1. Filter inventory based on Sales Type (B2B, or B2C) for allocation.

    2. Create a view on Sales Lines to display all Sales Lines with Allocation Status = “None”, or “Partial”, Include the following fields:

      1. Item No.

      2. Decription

      3. Outstanding Qty.

      4. Not Allocated Qty.

      5. Available in Warehouse

      6. Ready to Move (Yes or No, a formula field)

        1. If Available in Warehouse > 0 and if Not Allocated Qty > 0

    3. After inventory is moved, update the Sales Order Allocation.

  5. Posting Picks

    1. For B2C: The Warehouse team can batch post Wave Picks and Individual Picks.

    2. For B2B: The Warehouse team should first post the Wave Pick, followed by individual picks one by one, because only some shipments may be picked and packed when the truck comes on the day.
