    must be “Full”
    • is "Full" before creating a

    Wave Pick
  2. Filter inventory based on Sales Type (B2B, or B2C) for allocation.

  3. Create a view on Sales Lines to display all Sales Lines with Allocation Status = “None”, or “Partial”, Include the following fields:

    1. Item No.

    2. Decription

    3. Outstanding Qty.

    4. Not Allocated Qty.

    5. Available in Warehouse

    6. Ready to Move (Yes or No, a formula field)

    • pick ticket.

    Allocating inventory on Sales Orders:

    • All inventory must be available in the correct Zone before a pick ticket can be generated.

  5. Inventory Replenishment Between Zones

    • Develop a report or view to help replenish inventory between Zones effectively.

Posting Picks

  1. For B2C

    :

    Orders

    • The Warehouse team can batch post both Wave Picks and Individual Picks together.

  2. For B2B

: The Warehouse team should first post

    Orders

    • Post the Wave Pick first, followed by individual picks one by one

, because only some shipments may be picked and packed when the truck comes on the day
    • . This allows for selective shipment processing when the truck arrives, ensuring that only ready shipments are handled.

How to Ship

...

  1. Trucks

...

  1. arrive at the warehouse to pick up shipments.

  2. The Warehouse team should:

    • Print a report

...

    • listing all open shipments, sorted by Shipping Agent.

    • Use the report to

...

    • verify which shipments are ready for pickup.

    • Batch post

...

    • the confirmed shipments after the truck departs.

These procedures streamline the picking and shipping processes, ensuring efficient handling of B2B and B2C orders.
