  • There are two main zones for inventory management based on sales type:

    • B2B Zone for Sales Orders with Sales Type = B2B

    • B2C Zone for Sales Orders with Sales Type = B2C

...

  • We implemented a flow so that:

    • When a sales order is created or modified, the system will automatically populate the Zone field based on the Sales Type.

  • Replenishment processes should be used to transfer inventory between Zones as needed.

Guidelines for Pick Ticket Creation

  1. No Partial Shipments Allowed

    • Make sure All Sales Orders must have Do Not Allow Partial Shipment is checked on every new Sales Order checked.

    • All Sales Orders must have Sales Type = B2B or B2C.

    • Ensure that the Allocation Status on the Sales Order is "Full" before creating a Whse Shipment, or Wave Pick.

    • For Wave Picks, all included sales orders must also have an Allocation Status of Full.

    • All inventory must be available in the correct Zone before a pick ticket can be generated.

  2. Inventory Replenishment Between Zones

    • Develop a report or view to help replenish inventory between Zones effectively.
