Click the New End User Quote on the Opportunity List
Search for the customer under Customer Account.
Navigate to the Customer tab. You can use Phone No. or email to search for an existing customer.
Select a customer, and then the system will automatically populate the name and the address to the quote, together with the customer ID.
If the customer does not exist in the database, the system will create a new account with the entered customer’s name and address.
Currently, if you change the Customer’s First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email and Address, the changes are NOT copied back to the account. Need to discuss it more.
On the Quote, The following information is automatically populated.

Opportunity Currency | Default to the Assigned Dealer’s Currency, or CAD if the Assigned Dealer is blank. |
Account | Search for an Account, or enter relevant information to create a new account |
Price Book | Default to Standard Price Book |
Closed Date | Default to Today’s date |
Stage | Default to “Proposal” |
Assigned Dealer | Default to the account that is linked to the Assigned Salesperson. |
Assigned Salesperson | Default to the contact that is linked to the logged-in user. |
Update these fields as necessary.
Then Click Save.
The Opportunity will automatically be created in the background. No need to click “Create Opportunity.”
