Trade Ins

  • Trade in with Used Intake Form

  • Should add trade-in items to the inventory.

Allocation

  • Allocate Inventory on the Quoting stage

  • Customer need financing.

  • Create Sales Order

  • Then allocate inventory for the order.

  • Customer will get finance approval & customer accepted it.

  • But if they don’t get financing, then order is cancelled and inventory is available again.

  • This is the OOB Sales Order

“Service” Sales Order – NOT SERVICE ORDER

  • Add the following custom fields

    • Service Item Number

    • Service Serial Number

“Service” Sales Line Type

  • Add the following custom fields

    • Actual Qty

    • Assigned To

“Parts” Sales Record Record (Possible requirement)

Signing Documents

  • Use a digital signing tool.

  • Digitally signed documents should be accessible in Salesforce.

Adding Dealer Option Packages

Shipment & Delivery

  • No longer use Tag & Title Salesforce Cases for Serialized Items

Sales Invoice

  • Tax Liable always defaulted to “Yes”

  • Unless the client is tax exempt

  • No labels
