In Vidya’s instance, create the following customizations:

Customize out-of-box Scan Shop Floor mobile app.

Split the data entry page into two pages:

Input:

  • Line Clearance from QA (user)

  • Process start time / end time

  • Who performed (user)

  • Secondary signoff verification of completion (user)

  • Work Center cleaning start/end time

  • Who performed Work Center cleaning (User)

  • Secondary signoff on cleaning of equipment (User)

  • Scan Input Container

Notes:

  • check to make sure the scanned container belong to the same work order

  • there could be multiple input containers

  • error if not all containers for the work order is scanned

  • can enter a user or scan the barcode of a user

Output:

  • Scan Output Container

  • Enter output weight/volume

  • Date/time of output creation

  • Who performed (User)

  • Secondary signoff verification (User)

Notes:

  • there could be multiple input/output containers

  • can enter a user or scan the barcode of a user

  • Raw materials will be consumed automatically based on the standard setup. No need to scan raw materials

  • Lot No. will be assigned on the last step of routing.

Create a New Object - Container

  • Container No.

  • Work Order

  • Routing Step

  • Operation No.

  • Output Item

  • Output Quantity

  • Unit of Measure

Work Order Lot Number Automation

  1. Batch No.

    1. 3 digits

    2. This number should reset every year starting from 001

    3. Assign the next Batch No. when creating a new Work Order.

  2. Assignment of Lot No. when posting output. Some fields could be pre-configured on the Work Order

  • For the mixed container situation, what inventory to deduct, and how to deduct on the Work Order?

    • using lot number to consume raw materials

  • How is container # related to allocation/shipping?

    • use lot number to ship
