In Salesforce CRM

  • Sales Reps will use Opportunities and Quote.

  • Customize the Edit Quote page with the following fields:

  • Upon Saving the Quote, if the Product does not exist, create a new Product using this format: ABC-01-1025-0925-001, where:

    • ABC = 3 digit customer code

    • 01 = Material Code

    • 1025 = 10.25 inch for width

    • 0925 = 9.25 inch for length

    • 001 = sequential values assigned to each unique content description

  • When Opportunity is closed won, click a button to create Sales Order.

    • Create new items if they don’t already exist.

    • Establish item formulas and routings based on preset rules.

In GoldFinch:

  • Create a custom Product Configurator page in GoldFinch with the following fields to create finished goods and sync to Salesforce Product

    • Customer Code

    • Material

    • Width

    • Length

    • Content

  • Enter all raw material items in GoldFinch and will not sync back to Salesforce.

  • Preconfigured BOMs and Routings based on item segments.

  • Configure Sales Price

  • Configure Cross Reference table to map Customer Item No. with GoldFinch Item No.

  • All repeated orders will entered in GoldFinch Sales Order

    • Allow to enter orders using either Customer Item No. or GoldFinch Item No.

  • No labels
