Bins
To simplify the system, we suggest to set up only one bin for the following bin setups:
Ship Bin
Receive Bin
Input Bin
Output Bin
These are virtual bins and are required by the system.

Receiving Process
When posting Whse Receipts
For VMI items, receive into the “one” Input bin. These are the shelves
T001 to T999 bin
For Raw Steel item, receive into the “one” Input bin. These are the shelves
S001 to S999
For other items, receive into the Receive bin (Dock02).
Then create a putaway document to move inventory to Yellow Bins (Stock locations)
Enter bins manually, or we want set up defaults on the item?
Create a Movement document to move inventory from the Yellow bins to the Input bin

Print shelves by item on the Movement document?
These are the shelves in the Input bin
P001-P999, W001-W999
Work Order Process
On Work Order list, create Replenishment Movement to move inventory to move inventory into the input bin
Shipping Process
“Make to Order” Work Order, post output to the one “Ship” bin directly.
Other items, must create a movement document to move inventory to the Ship bin.
Under the one Ship Bin, with the following shelves:
V000-Y999
Quality Control:
Should create one QC bin, with these shelves
A000-Q999.
When do you move inventory into or out of the Quality Control bin
