Salesforce CRM Configuration
In Salesforce CRM, Sales Representatives will utilize Opportunities and Quotes. Customize the Edit Quote page to include the following fields for a streamlined quoting process:

Field Details and Usage Instructions
Material: Select from a picklist with 10–15 predefined options.
Width: Enter values ranging from 0 to 120 inches, with precision up to 2 decimal places.
Length: Enter values ranging from 0 to 20 inches, with precision up to 2 decimal places.
Bleed: Select from a picklist with 3–4 options.
Content Description: Free text entry field.
Unit Price: Automatically calculated based on preset pricing rules.
Each Quote Line allows image updates.
Unit Price Calculation Logic
The Unit Price is calculated using this formula:
(Length (inches to 2 decimals) + Bleed (from bleed table)

Length and Width values are in inches, with up to 2 decimal places.
Bleed values are derived from the Bleed Pricing Table.

Quote Discount
Discounts are applied based on a Discount Code associated with the Account, affecting the entire quote.

Note: Salesforce Price Books are not required for the pricing and discount setup.
Automatic Product Creation
If the product does not already exist, it is automatically created upon saving a quote. The product code follows this format:
Format: ABC123-XY-10-09-001
ABC123: 6-digit customer code (an error will display if the Customer Number is blank when saving a quote)
XY: Material code
10: Nearest integer for Width in inches (e.g., 10.5 inches becomes 11)
09: Nearest integer for Length in inches (e.g., 9.45 inches becomes 09)
001: Sequential number for each quote line
Sales Order Creation for Approved Quotes
Each Opportunity may have multiple approved quotes.
Quotes do not sync with Opportunities, and the Opportunity Amount is hidden.
Add a button to generate a GoldFinch Sales Order.
New items are created if they do not already exist, with pre-configured item formulas and routing.
Raw Material Items
Enter all raw materials directly in GoldFinch; these do not sync back to Salesforce.
BOMs (Bill of Materials) and routings are predefined based on Material, with one Material potentially comprising multiple components.
GoldFinch Sales prices are configured per Item and Customer Account.
A Cross Reference Table is available to map the Customer Item Number with the GoldFinch Item Number.
Order Entry for Repeated Orders
All repeat orders are entered directly in GoldFinch Sales Order, allowing orders to be placed using either the Customer Item Number or the GoldFinch Item Number for efficient cross-referencing.
Field Details and Help:
Material: Choose from a picklist with approximately 10 to 15 options.
Width: Range from 0 to 120 inches with 2 decimals.
Length: Range from 0 to 20 inches with 2 decimals.
Bleed: Choose from a picklist with approximately 3 to 4 options.
Content Description: Free text input.
Unit Price: Automatically calculated based on predefined rules.
Allow to update images per Quote Line.

Format:

Sales Order Creation for Approved Quotes:
One Opporutnity can have multiple approved quotes.
Do not sync quotes to opportunities.
Hide Opportuntity Amount.
Click a button to generate a Sales Order.
Create new items if they do not already exist.
Establish item formulas and routing.
