Create a Quote from an Opportunity

Creating a Quote
There are 2 options to create a new quote with an Opportunity.
Option 1 - End User Quote
Click the End User Quote button on the Opportunity to edit the latest quote, or to create a new quote if there are no quotes created yet for the Opportunity.
Option 2 - New Quote
Click the New Quote button on the Quotes related list of the Opportunity.
To clone from an existing quote, click the Quote Number to go to the Quote page.
Then, click the Clone button. After cloning, the new quote will automatically have the same header and lines as the cloned quote. The new Quote will have the Syncing field checked automatically.
On the Quote, the following information is automatically populated. - as of 04/15/24 the opportunity section is hidden
Field Name | Help |

Opportunity Currency | Default to the Assigned Dealer’s Currency, or CAD if the Assigned Dealer is blank. |
Price Book | Default to Standard Price Book |
Assigned Dealer | Default to the account that is linked to the Assigned Salesperson. |
Assigned Salesperson | Default to the contact that is linked to the logged-in user. |
Update these fields as necessary.
Then click Save.
Read Add Quote Details / Edit Quote to continue to edit the quote.
