11/19/2024 Meeting Summary
Discuss warehouse bins and default input bin
A total of about 50,000 bins with Arrowquip and Yakta combined
GF expressed concerns with this unusually large number of bins.
Data for input bins (one for Yakta and one for Arrowquip)
Rick provided the data for parts they manufactured in-house
We only have Arrowquip data, not Yakta
Only VMI will have a default input bin / 70-80% of components are not VMI, those don’t have default input bins
Work line for VMI component will go to a Default Bin
Work line non-VMI component will go to ???
Explain GF default bin process through WO example
It seems like Arrowquip components on WO can be throughout the warehouse and assembly
Main Question: We need default input bin for every work line, how do we make it happen?
Discuss BOM revisions: In Sage they compare BOMs, but in GF we create a new revised BOM which is safer (Formula version) / Derek will look over the documentation on this
Supply Plan:
Issue is that VMI items appears on supply planning for WO
To exclude items from supply planning , make sure replenishment system is blank
All VMI items should have blank replenishment system
Some items are showing as WO when it shouldn’t be
It may be because when we got the raw data, the Product Source was labeled as Manufacturing
Need to decide who has permission to modify SKUs
Show mobile scanning feature (scan shop floor)
Worried about the amount of clicks needed on desktop to close a work order / Should scanning be phase 1?
There can be automation to finish WOs

Netstock Integration Set up mobile scanning for them to test out | Joe will provide spreadsheet of part numbers and bin locations from Sage and send to Mitch Internal discussion for what the default input bin should be for each work line Who will have permission to modify SKUs? More testing for Planning Production - MRP to think about efficiency |
