Shop Supply

Overview

• AATC needs to collect Shop Supply charge for certain labor service items.

• The fee is 10% of the total labor amount before the Sales Tax.

Setups

• On the Item page, add one check box field:

  • Collect Shop Supply

• On the Company Setup page, add 2 fields:

  • Shop Supply %

  • Shop Supply Service Item, an item lookup field.l

    • Must point to a Liability GL Account on APS for the item (ask AATC)???

Saving Sales Quote/Order

• System will automatically create a Sales Line for the Shop Supply Tax.

Sales Order and Sales Invoice Process

• When creating Sales Invoices from Sales Orders, test to make sure the Shop Supply Sales Line is added with the right amount when conditions are met. ?????

• When posting Sales Invoices, test to make sure the Shop Supply Sales Line is added with the right amount when conditions are met. ???
