Quote Tab

• Enabled "Create quotes without a related opportunity".

• Quotes tab is not showing up; investigate why.

Image Storage

Images can be uploaded to the Quote Line level (a custom object), which allows CRM users to access it without additional GoldFinch licenses.

Cross-Reference Table Issue

• Investigate Quantity field not opening until a second line is added in sales orders. Unit prices are not populating correctly.

• Actions:

  • Investigate the issue in UAT.

  • Ensure data imported into UAT is clean before moving to production.

Data Transfer and Setup

• Metadata Transfer:

  • Use change sets to move metadata (tables, objects, and programs) to production.

  • Assign permissions for roles managing pricing and discount tables.

• Data Import:

  • Import clean data into production manually or via export/import from UAT.

  • Eliminate test data and ensure naming conventions are standardized.

Open POs and Sales Orders

• Open POs:

  • Small volume of open POs will be entered manually into GoldFinch.

• Open Sales Orders:

  • Determine whether to import or manually enter sales orders for January 1 go-live.

January 1 Go-Live Plan

• Quoting functionality:

  • Begin testing the new quoting program in production before January 1.

  • Accounting and invoicing to go live on January 1.

• AR/AP:

  • Ensure Open AR and Open AP balances are imported into GoldFinch before the transition.

• Lift Integration:

  • Turn off sales and purchase integration from Lift upon go-live.

Development and Testing

• All code must meet Salesforce’s 75% test coverage requirement before deployment to production.

• Conduct further testing in UAT to ensure clean and functional setups.
